3 World History Books and Report Sheet to include Australia - New South Wales - Reports of Crime 13 February 1862 complete edition of two pages / one leaf, Very interesting reading about Sydney and New South Wales 158 years ago. These reports contain details of crimes committed, descriptions of stolen property, rewards offered, prisoners discharged, apprehension of suspects previously sought, and sentences. This edition covers an armed attack on a regiment with a massive 175 pound reward. A mail robbery is also detailed with a 50 pound reward. Mexico - Memoirs of The Mexican Revolution by William Davis Robinson 1820 an extensive 396 page book giving a lot of detail about the long independence war from Spain from 1808, still going on when this book was written. Mention at length San Martin, General Minas, General Bolivar and others involved. Part of the Introduction missing, but the main 396 pages of the book complete, thus this scarce book is offered at a very reasonable price. Well Bound in modern cloth board binding. South Africa - The Transvaal in War and Peace by Neville Edwards - Large hardback published in 1900 by H Virtue and Company. A history of the Transvaal with chapters on early history of the Boers, Causes That Led Up to the Present War, Kimberley and Cape Town, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Johannesburg's Gold Mines, Mining Life, Durban and Natal, Natal the Eastern Frontier, Resources of the Transvaal and Notes on the war. Has 384 pages profusely illustrated with several hundred photographs. Bit knocked about, but all there, reflected in reasonable price. Size 8 ½" x 10¾", loose at spine to front co (3)
