V Rare 1937 S African Tour to NZ, F Glasgow letter

V Rare 1937 S African Tour to NZ, F Glasgow letter: Frank Glasgow (1905 All Black) was the NZ liason man with the 1937 Boks. In this muti-page letter on lovely official Springbok headed paper he writes to 'Ollie': "the Boks are a fine lot of fellows...they play a game which is exceedingly attractive to the public." Also.." this team has a number on the injured list, especially in the forwards....they are fielding a fairly weak team today…" It was written on the morning of the game v Manawatu and is signed Frank on the side of the last page. Fascinating & 'open' and VG
