1939 Scotland v England Rugby Programme: Just one fold on this traditional style issue, spine and staple present, for the last international before WW2. Six players from this match, four airmen, died on active service. Both fullbacks, Scotland's George Roberts as a PoW of the Japanese in 1943 and Ernest Parsons, from NZ and a DFC-decorated bomber pilot, over Turin in 1940. Prop Derek Teden, another airman, died the day after. Two back row died - Scotland's Donald Mackenzie, RAF, in June 1940 and England's Robert Marshall DSC and bar, in May 1945; plus Scots scrum-half Tommy Dorward, on RAF service in March 1941
