Cuba - Selection of 7x Pagare - The Pagaré [To Pay] were the earliest form of currency used on plantations in Cuba, together with gold and silver; they are a type of promissory note and they are for purchases of tobacco leaves (for making Cuban cigars/cigarettes), coffee, sugar cane and other items. They all have a variety of scarce and attractive revenue stamps on them. Rare on the market, printed and completed by hand, condition mixed A/G overall
