Sketches and Drawings of Bhai Ram Singh A quantity of sketches and drawings from the collection of Bhai Ram Singh, depicting floral design, and some of Indian deities, works in ink, pencil, and some with dot drawings. Approx ten pieces of various size, plus two large pencil sketches of floral works by Bloomfield of Delhi for the Travancore Palace. Bhai Ram Singh of Amritsar was a student of Lockwood Kipling and worked under him on various projects including the Mayo School of Art and Lahore Museum. He worked with Kipling on Queen Victoria’s summer house at Osborne in the Isle of Wight and also the Khalsa College, and these sketches could relate to one of the houses he worked at.
