Scarce James Wilson St Andrews stained fruit wood longnose putter c.1850 – showing an early off set to the head which measures 5.25” x 1.75” x 7/8” face depth – at some time in its history, the club has been professionally re-shafted – overall 38” and fitted with later leather grip which can be enhanced with an early sheep skin grip with underlisting Note James Wilson (Craftsman) was employed by H Philip from 1845-1852 and made clubs up to 1866
