Portrait of Edward VII signed by George V fine engraved Coronation portrait of Edward VII, engraved by Joseph Pratt, showing him in full regalia, and taken from the celebrated portrait by Sir Luke Fildes, which now hangs in Buckingham Palace. This has been signed to base by King George V under the printed legend ‘In Remembrance of your Vigil May 17th-20th 1910’. This is one of a very limited edition presented to the military personnel who stood guard at the four points of the King’s coffin as he lay in state in Westminster Hall in May 1910. They were given in gratitude by George V personally. A very rare piece of Royal memorabilia, featuring one of the earliest examples of George V’s signature as King.
