Patents Pending (the LCRC being the makes of the Illingworth reels also), brass spool securing nut, ventilated flier housing, good black finish throughout, mechanically fine. Patent 354960 applies c1930, designed by Wakefield-Pitt and B.D. Bartleet, advertised and popularised by the great Jim Bazeley, in his book Fine and Far Off, showing the construction and use of the reel.
