WWII – Heinrich Himmler – autographs and documents – Himmler and Karl Wolff autograph postcard sent to Himmler’s mother Anna Himmler dated 17.VI.40 mentioning the entry into Paris signed by Himmler ‘Heinrich’ and with an autograph note signed by Karl Wolff below Himmler’s message. Wolff was known as Himmler’s ‘eyes and ears’. He served two terms for war crimes – particularly for his involvement in the deportation of 300000 Jews to Treblinka. When he died in 1984 he was described in obituaries as ‘one of the most enigmatic figures of the Nazi regime’. A rare item.
