Ephemera – broadsides two rare broadsides advertising Hen Aston Barker’s panorama which was set up in Leicester Square in 1817. The first advertises the panoramic view of the Battle of Waterloo and the second the view of St Petersburgh Russia. Original folds and a little creased but otherwise fresh images. Barker’s panorama was one of the wonders of London and ran for a considerable time. The Panorama was housed in a special spherical building and Ruskin said it was ‘...and educational institution of the highest and purest value...’
