Ephemera – ‘Grey Owl’ biographical note signed ‘Grey Owl’ to cover featuring a colour portrait of this celebrated fraudster with loosely inserted programme for a flyer from his UK tour. ‘Grey Owl’ was actually a Briton named Archibald Belaney. He was discredited after his death in 1938 but is now remembered with affection for his contribution to conservation.
